The Asahi Shimbun, July 2, 2019: Four of 30 patients with advanced stage head and neck cancers had a complete disappearance of their tumors in a clinical trial of a new therapy using photoimmunotherapy by a U.S. affiliate of Rakuten Inc.
Nine saw their tumors shrink, while three suffered serious adverse effects that are believed to be linked to the groundbreaking treatment method.
